Tree planting in Jericho

The sorbus tree on the corner of Victor Street and Canal street was suffering from root decay fungus and had to be removed. The Jericho Community Association has paid £150 to replace it with a flowering cherry, which was planted on March 15 by Class III of St Barnabas School. With any luck, we will see blossoms in a month or two.
