Where does Jericho begin and end?
Freuds cafe, formerly St Paul's ChurchThe Jericho Community Association is drawing up a new constitution to align itself better with the requirements of the Charity Commission. Fascinating stuff, but it does raise the question: ‘What is Jericho?’ We have decided to define Jericho as the area covered by the Parish of St Barnabas and St. Paul’s – two parishes that were merged in 1969 when St Paul’s was closed – the building now houses Freuds. Jericho is thus bounded by Walton Well Road to the north, Walton Street to the east, Worcester College to the south and the canal to the west.
